These black birds all perched on a tree limb are like friends and family, all sticking together and giving support to each other.  Striking black and white design is perfect for most decors. This handmade ceramic platter is designed using the sgraffito technique. Created similar to a linoleum cut tile, specially made tools carve away the black glaze to reveal the white clay below.  Kiln fired twice and glazed with food safe clear glaze, this bowl can be used with food as well as displayed in a plate stand as art.
